Lawrence is an experimental techno producer with minimalist tech-house leanings world Health Organization has produced for the Dial (Hamburg) and Kompakt (Cologne) labels. Like a fair measure of his brethren, the division between rhythms and textures is frequently a foggy one. The manufacturer made an show on Kompakt's Total 2 compilation (with the lightly shuffling "William Gilbert"), which was issued in 2000. In September of 2001, Lawrence released the Teaser 12" on Kompakt; the claim track was included on that year's Total 3 compilation. The Corporate Indentity 12" was as well released during 2001 on Dial. A self-titled full-length followed the adjacent year.
